How to make your own flavored salt
Recipe type: Seasoning
Serves: 1 cup
  • 1 cup of coarse seasalt
  • grated lemon peel from 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp of fresh thyme
  1. Grind everything in a foodprocesser untill well mixed
  2. Spread on an oven plate lined with baking paper
  3. Let it air-dry for 2 days or dry it in the oven for 1 or 2 hours
  4. Store in an airtight container
  5. The flavor will stay for approx 6 - 12 months depending on the ingredients.
